Literacy Parties and Family Events
We visit homes, schools, churches and childhood programs to teach reading tips to families. The host receives a literacy basket and guests receive free books. ECDC also hosts Family Literacy Nights with free dinner and activities. We also educate agencies in best practices. If you would like to host a free literacy party, call 437-2706. Health & Nutrition
We've given lead awareness kits to local pediatricians and clinics. We also distribute healthy snacks/meals and brain development materials for families. More about Health & Nutrition
